Limited access to land-related data prevents marginalized groups from making informed decisions and from speaking up in decision-making spaces. This is the case for rural youth, who suffer from lack of available data related to land governance – such as access to land, participation in decision-making processes, or their role in family farming. Mostly, data are not disaggregated by age or do not reflect the perspectives of youth.
That’s why we are offering a short training programme to the young leaders in the ILC network on how to use data tools, including LANDex.
