Training on Consulting and Data Collection Tools – ILC

Limited access to land-related data prevents marginalized groups from making informed decisions and from speaking up in decision-making spaces.  This is the case for rural youth, who suffer from lack of available data related to land governance – such as access to land, participation in decision-making processes, or their role in family farming. Mostly, data are not disaggregated by age or do not reflect the perspectives of youth.

That’s why we are offering a short training programme to the young leaders in the ILC network on how to use data tools, including LANDex.

– Young people who are part of the ILC Rural Youth Network.
– Young people applying to the 2023 ILC’s Fellowship
– Young people who are part of ILC Youth Network’s organizations
There will be three sessions which will cover the following topics:  Session 1: Use and design of forms to collect information in the field.
Session 2: Data tools and possible collaborations to collect rural youth data related to land governance.
Session 3: LANDex as a tool that is preparing to collect rural youth data linked to land governance.
