In sub-Saharan Africa, the Education and Vocational Training Sector (TVET) industry faces challenges such as lack of operational importance and weak infrastructure. Entrepreneurship education seems to be important in addressing youth unemployment and bridging technological gaps. Countries like Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa suffer from high levels of youth unemployment, and their formal VET systems are considered weak.
The GSMESKILL project aims to strengthen relations between Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa with Program Education and Vocational Training (VET) programs, harmonizing the industry with local labor market opportunities. Read the full manual.
